Enchanted Wedding
The Groom- tall, handsome, and strong
The Bride so Angelic in her white satin hood
Entered into the enchanted site
To celebrate their joining that blessed night
Christians, Jews, and Pagans alike
Shared the joy of the Wedding that night
Angels were dancing round about
Fairies did sing and dance and shout
Guests conversed in joyous repartee
Children ran in Firefly play
Trees were alive with glows of lights
All who were there were filled with life
Blessings to the Bride and Groom
From a Loving Universe in Full Bloom

I Love You

I live in a paranoid Hell
Formed by the shadows in my own mind.

I hear I love you with my ears,

But my memories step in and say, " they lied before"

I hear I love you and the shadows call out

"Where is the intimacy, the touch, the passion?"

I hear I love you and darkness overshadows

Joy found in the little time spent together.

I hear I love you and pain shatters my heart

With the thought that there is no care for my needs

I hear I love you and I want to run away

Run way from the paranoia of my mind

I hear I love you and I settle for complacency

To have, and not have, your love, your touch, your passion.

I hear I love you and another part of me dies because

I know nothing will come of it- they are just empty words.

I hear I love you and I grow numb

I don't want empty love, I need so much more

I hear I love you and I cry for love lost

That which I once had that I will never have again
I hear I love you .....

                        No More

And the Piper Cried

They sang the praise of the men who died to rescue the fallen towers
The memories flowed, the families cried, the politicians spoke
Thousands gathered in the center of the disaster to remember those fine people
The Drum and Piper Corp marched for hours, from dawn to ground “0”
America watched and listened as those who lost loved ones remembered
The TV showed the crash and burn again and again and again
Each time the disaster re counted it gained the sympathies of our land
Children cried in nightmares and mothers wept in gratefulness
Our countrymen pulled together to remember our fallen heroes
And the Drum and Piper Corp. marched in rhythm playing their pipes and drums
The music played in soft soothing lilts as the Corp marched through the Burrows
Playing their songs of hope and cheer to the families of the lost
Chin up and marching proud converging on the spot
Where thousands of the innocent lost their lives in unprovoked attack
They played with honor and with courage the songs for the ones who passed
“Amazing Grace How Sweet the Sound” lilted through Ground “0”
A moment of silence to remember the lost
The reading of the Declaration of Independence
“Oh Say Can You See” our National Anthem rang out
Emotions welled, the crowds cheered…and the Piper shed a Tear.

My Teddy Bear

When I was young I said:
My Teddy Bear is gruff and tuff; grumbly and  tumbly
gray and lots of fluff
My Teddy Bear has big blue eyes, no bow tie
and a twinkle in his walk
My Teddy Bear snuggles up all nice and fluffy
       when I want
My Teddy Bear is full of love and laughs
      when I do this...
My Teddy Bear gives great big hugs and
      fuzzies when we kiss
My Teddy Bear is all I need when things get
      mean and rough
Cause my Teddy Bear just loves me back
      He's never mean or tough
My Teddy Bear is my best friend
     for ever and a day
I'm gonna grow up big and strong and
Marry him some day
...and I did.
